About this car
The newer Jeep Renegade 2020 in bright blue is the car people photograph next to. The facelift brought LED headlights, a sharper grille and a bigger touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so your own maps are one cable away. It still has the upright seat and short overhangs that make it so easy in the city.
Five seats, five doors, two large bags in the boot. The 2.4 litre petrol engine and nine-speed automatic return about 9 litres per 100 km. Front-wheel drive with decent clearance: Tbilisi, Kakheti, Borjomi and the coast are its home, the paved road to Gudauri in summer is fine, the gravel to Juta is not.
